Jacquelyn Harrison is a devoted mother of two daughters and a family-centered leader whose personal values deeply shape her approach to service, leadership, and community engagement. Grounded in compassion and purpose, she brings a steady, people-first perspective to every role she serves.
Since 2015, Jacquelyn has worked closely with families and students across a wide range of educational settings, including daycares, preschools, aftercare programs, and elementary schools. Her experience spans early childhood through upper elementary ages, allowing her to develop a strong foundation in child development, family engagement, and instructional support. These years of hands-on service have reinforced her belief that strong families and consistent support systems are essential to student success.
Jacquelyn currently serves in a district-level role as an Attendance Specialist, where she supports schools across the entire district. She brings extensive experience in school operations, attendance accountability, and PowerSchool data management, working closely with both school-based and district leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in student enrollment, attendance reporting, and state-required documentation.
Throughout her career, Jacquelyn has partnered with families to identify barriers impacting student success and collaborated with school teams to develop thoughtful, effective strategies that support students both academically and personally. Her work has included leading daily attendance monitoring, supporting truancy intervention efforts, managing federal program coding, and analyzing state attendance reports to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Known for her professionalism, discretion, and calm leadership style, Jacquelyn works collaboratively with principals, assistant principals, counselors, nurses, teachers, and district staff to foster alignment and support student-centered outcomes. She approaches her work with a commitment to equity, accountability, and operational excellence, believing that when systems are strong and families are supported, communities are better positioned to thrive.
