Jamila brings a diverse professional background spanning nonprofit grassroots organizing, legal advocacy, and business consulting. She has worked with nationally recognized organizations such as the Fund for the Public Interest and Save the Children, supporting community engagement efforts and campaigns centered on equity, access, and social impact. Her career later expanded into the legal industry, where she worked on personal injury and class action cases as an insurance lien resolution analyst, negotiating outcomes that returned critical resources to individuals and families.
