Xavier Crews grew up in Danville, Virginia, where he was shaped by the strength, challenges, and potential of the community around him. His upbringing gave him firsthand insight into the realities many young people—particularly young men—face when searching for direction, identity, and positive guidance.

A graduate of Virginia State University, Xavier developed a strong problem-solving mindset through his undergraduate studies. He went on to build a professional career in the technology field, gaining experience in structured environments that emphasized organization, strategic thinking, and innovation—skills that continue to inform his approach to leadership and communication.

Alongside his work in technology, Xavier cultivated a passion for content creation and storytelling. Rather than chasing trends, he is intentional about clear, authentic communication that is accessible, purposeful, and grounded in values. He believes that how a message is communicated can be just as impactful as the message itself—especially when reaching youth and families.

As Director of Communications & Media, Xavier plays a key role in shaping CORE Impact’s voice, brand, and public presence. He helps ensure the organization’s mission is communicated with clarity, consistency, and integrity across all platforms. His work focuses on creating content that is uplifting, age-appropriate, and empowering, while maintaining professionalism and trust with partners, supporters, and the broader community.
